Our Mission

A Mission of Community Support

The Royal St. George’s Society’s original 1768 mission and bylaws are straight-forward and clear.  “All monies and funds (after operating expenses) will be appropriated and used for the (charitable) relief of the indigent and the distressed (and other worthy purposes)”.

Today, we offer practical, non-sectarian support to a wide range of small, often overlooked, underfunded and under-served but none-the-less worthy organizations, projects and services community-wide. The Royal St. George’s Society of Halifax is actively looking  for opportunities to serve.
