In addition to Canada Day and Saint George’s Day, Royal Saint George’s Society members, friends, & guests variously gather and celebrate Commonwealth Day (12 Mar.), King’s Birthday (15 June), Trafalgar Day (21 Oct.), Waterloo Day (18 June), Guy Fawkes Day (5 Nov.), Remembrance Day (11 Nov.).
We also enjoy an annual Summer Garden Party, Christmas Holiday Reception, luncheons, and social gatherings. We often participate in Robbie Burns Day, Saint Patrick’s Day, Celtic Colours, Saint Andrews, and Saint David’s Day celebrations and programs hosted by our sister organizations. Summer Tea & Garden Party
The Royal St. George’s Society and its members cordially invite you and our Isles Connection friends (The Charitable Irish Society of Halifax, Welsh Nova Scotia, The Scots) and other guests to join them for our annual afternoon of wine and finger-food, tea and sweets, good cheer and engaging conversation at our Past President Carol Dodds’ pool-side garden in beautiful Chester by the sea. It’s an easy-going, casual and always well attended affair and we hope to see you there.
