DESCRIPTION:The Royal St. George’s Society and its members  cordially invite you and  our Isles Connection friends (The Charitable Irish Society of Halifax\, Welsh Nova Scotia\, The Scots) and other guests to join them for  our annual afternoon of wine and finger-food\, tea and sweets\,  good cheer and engaging conversation at our Past President Carol Dodds’ pool-side garden in beautiful Chester by the sea. It’s an easy-going\, casual and always well attended affair and we hope to see you there. \nDate: Saturday August 29. Canon Stephen Paul Booth\, Ph.D.\, (who has kindly agreed to become our Society’s chaplain). He will speak on the topic “The Ubiquity of English Tradition and Culture”.   \nHere are the details for our event \nDate: Thursday April 23\, 2026\nTime: Dinner 6:00 for 6:30 pm\nDress: Black tie\, business optional.\nMenu: Juice\, green salad\, bread roll\, Yorkshire pudding\, roast beef\, gravy\, vegetables and dessert\nCost: $30 all-inclusive per person\, including wine.\nRSVP: As soon as possible.
